SUBJECT: Rider Orders for the 2004 Edition of the Department of Justice's Freedom of Information Act Guide & Privacy Act Overview

The Department of Justice's (DOJ) Office of Information and Privacy is planning to publish the 2004 edition of the DOJ's Freedom of Information Act Guide and Privacy Act Overview this coming May. This publication will feature the "Justice Department Guide to the Freedom of Information Act" as well as an overview discussion of the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974 that is prepared in coordination with the Office of Management and Budget. It will also contain the texts of those two access statutes.

The Department of Justice has asked that the Government Printing Office (GPO) inform departments/agencies of the opportunity to ride their order for this publication. Please be sure to submit your requisition (SF1) to GPO no later that April 30, 2004, and include DOJ Requisition No. 4-06028and GPO Jacket No. 305-884 on your requisition. The estimated rider rate is $2.25 per copy. (Note that rider rates apply to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account.)
