SUBJECT: Closing of Los Angeles and St. Louis GPO Regional Printing Procurement Offices and the New Orleans Satellite Printing Procurement Office and Transfer of Agency Work to Other GPO Locations

This Circular Letter is to notify you that on the dates indicated below, GPO's Los Angeles, California, and St. Louis, Missouri, Regional Printing Procurement Offices (RPPOs) and the New Orleans, Louisiana, Satellite Printing Procurement Office will close for business. These offices have experienced steadily declining workloads over the past several years and the decision to close them has been made to stem the financial losses resulting from this decline.

While we expect that the majority of agency work will be directed to the RPPO indicated in

each case below, GPO will work closely with agencies to ensure the flexibility needed to meet their requirements. In the near future, a GPO representative will contact customers of the

Los Angeles, New Orleans, and St. Louis offices to discuss their specific work requirements. We want to assure that all work is processed quickly and that the end products are delivered at the requested quality level and on time.
