TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key Certification Services Price Increase
         
This Circular Letter is to notify you that on October 1, 2009, there will be a rate change in the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certification services.  These services were designed by the GPO to assist agencies when facilitating the electronic submission of federal agency documents to the Office of the Federal Register (OFR) for publication in the Federal Register. 

The Government Printing Office (GPO) will charge $97.00 annually for End Users and $225.00 annually for users of the Local Registration Authority (LRA). Agency Representatives who are interested in procuring electronic authentication and integrity capabilities for documents submitted to the OFR can set up and pay a one time subscription fee using their Government Credit cards or establish a Billing Address Code (BAC) for payment.

Requisitions should be submitted by one of the two following methods:  addressed and mailed to U.S. Government Printing Office, Agency Publishing Services, Requisition Section, Mail Stop CSA, Washington, DC 20401 or emailed to requisition@gpo.gov.  Your agency’s authorized personnel as reflected in our agency signature file must sign all requisitions submitted.
