Effectively Communicating to Get the Printing You Want
What You Will Learn
This lecture-based course emphasizes the need to communicate your printing, publishing and digital media requirements clearly and completely. New print orders, reorders and unusual requirements. It also educates the customer to identify product demands, schedules and time lines needed to better estimate a printing project. Case studies are used to let students figure out what they need to communicate with the GPO. This class is intended to help solve communication barriers that arise when ordering products.
Target Student
Government employees who order printing, publishing or digital media services should find this one-day workshop very valuable. For those who do not have a good working knowledge of printing or electronic publishing terminology, New Printing Processes and Terminology is strongly recommended as a prerequisite to this course.
