Short title

This Act may be cited as the Women’s Option to Raise Kids Act.

Increased age limit for exemption from TANF participation rate requirements

(a)

In general

Section 407(b)(5) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 607(b)(5)) is amended by striking 12 months each place it appears and inserting 36 months. (b)

Effective date

The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to fiscal years beginning after fiscal year 2012.
