    <SECTNO>§ 74.1261</SECTNO>
    <SUBJECT>Frequency tolerance.</SUBJECT>
    <P>(a) The licensee of an FM translator or booster station with an authorized transmitter power output of 10 watts or less shall maintain the center frequency at the output of the translator within 0.01 percent of its assigned frequency.</P>

    <P>(b) The licensee of an FM translator or booster station with an authorized transmitter power output greater than 10 watts shall maintain the center frequency at the output of the translator or booster station in compliance with <PRTPAGE P="566"/>the requirement of § 73.1545(b)(1) of this chapter.</P>
