    <SUBJECT>Sodium 5-nitroguaiacolate; exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.</SUBJECT>
    <P>The biochemical sodium 5-nitroguiacolate is exempted from the requirement of a tolerance when used as a plant growth regulator in end-use products at a concentration of 0.1% by weight and applied at an application rate of 20 g of a.i. per acre or less per application, in or on all food commodities.</P>
