 FIRST RESPONDER FAIR RETURN FOR EMPLOYEES ON THEIR INITIAL RETIREMENT 
                               EARNED ACT

  Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the immediate consideration of Calendar No. 515, H.R. 521.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER (Ms. Klobuchar). The clerk will report the bill 
by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 521) to permit disabled law enforcement 
     officers, customs and border protection officers, 
     firefighters, air traffic controllers, nuclear materials 
     couriers, members of the Capitol Police, members of the 
     Supreme Court Police, employees of the Central Intelligence 
     Agency performing intelligence activities abroad or having 
     specialized security requirements, and diplomatic security 
     special agents of the Department of State to receive 
     retirement benefits in the same manner as if they had not 
     been disabled.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. SCHUMER. I ask unanimous consent that the bill be considered read 
a third time and passed and the motion to reconsider be made and laid 
upon the table.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The bill (H.R. 521) was ordered to a third reading, was read the 
third time, and passed.
