ACTION: Notice of meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: In accordance with section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App., announcement is hereby published for a meeting of the Affordable Housing Advisory Board. The meeting is open to the public. DATES: The Affordable Housing Advisory Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, 1994, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ADDRESSES: The meeting will be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, 600 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Section 14(b) of the Resolution Trust Corporation Completion Act, Public Law No. 103-204, established the Affordable Housing Advisory Board to advise the Thrift Depositor Protection Oversight Board (Oversight Board) and the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) on policies and programs related to the provision of affordable housing. The advisory board consists of the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or delegate; the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the FDIC, or delegate; the Chairperson of the Oversight Board, or delegate; four persons appointed by the Secretary of HUD who represent the interests of individuals and organizations involved in using the affordable housing programs, and two members of the RTC National Advisory Board. The Affordable Housing Advisory Board was chartered March 10, 1994. Agenda: A detailed agenda will be available at the meeting. The meeting will include remarks from the chair and status reports from the FDIC and RTC on their respective affordable housing program and the unification plan. Other issues to be reviewed include: multifamily affordable housing sales with 35 percent low-income set asides; the Housing Opportunity Hotline in Dallas; GAO's report on the RTC's Affordable Housing Program; appropriations for increase affordable housing limits, and the affordable housing recommendations from the Series 16 Regional Advisory Board meetings held throughout the country from April 29 through May 26. Statements: Interested persons may submit, in writing, data, information or views on the issues pending before the Affordable Housing Advisory Board prior to or at the meeting.
