and title 41, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), subpart 101-6, Final
Rule on Federal Advisory Committee Management, I hereby certify the
Beryllium Rule Advisory Committee is necessary and in the public
interest in connection with the performance of the duties imposed on
the Department of Energy (DOE) by law. This notice of intent follows
consultation with the Committee Management Secretariat of the General

will reflect a balance of disciplines and diverse interests,
experiences and points of view. This committee has been determined to
be essential to the conduct of the Department's business and in the
public interest in connection with the performance of duties imposed
upon DOE. The committee will operate in accordance with the provisions
of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the DOE Organization Act (Public
