Public Land Order No. 7292; Revocation of Secretarial Order Dated 
March 8, 1938; Arizona

AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.

ACTION: Public land order.

SUMMARY: This order revokes a Secretarial order, in its entirety, as to 
the remaining 15 acres of public land withdrawn for use by the Federal 
Aviation Administration. The land is no longer needed for air 
navigation purposes. The revocation is needed to allow conveyance of 
the land to the city of Phoenix for airport purposes. The land is 
temporarily closed to surface entry and mining due to the pending 
conveyance. The land has been and will remain open to mineral leasing.

EFFECTIVE DATE: October 22, 1997.

    By virtue of the authority vested in the Secretary of the Interior 
by Section 204 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, 
43 U.S.C. 1714 (1994), it is ordered as follows:
    1. The Secretarial Order dated March 8, 1938, which withdrew public 
land for Air Navigation Site No. 118, is hereby revoked in its entirety 
as to the following described land:

Gila and Salt River Meridian

T. 1 N., R. 4 E.,
    Sec. 8, SW\1/4\SW\1/4\SW\1/4\, and W\1/2\SE\1/4\SW\1/4\SW\1/4\.

    The area described contains 15 acres in Maricopa County.

    2. The land described above is hereby made available for conveyance 
under Section 516 of the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982, 49 
U.S.C. 2215 (1994).
