ACTION: Notice of teleconference meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The National Maritime Security Advisory Committee (NMSAC) will meet by teleconference to discuss the results of the Seafarer Access to Shore Leave Working Group. This meeting will be open to the public. DATES: The teleconference meeting will take place on Friday, May 20, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST. Please note that the meeting may close early if the committee has completed its business. ADDRESSES: The Committee will meet via telephone conference, on May 20, 2011. As there are only 100 teleconference lines, public participation will be on a first come basis. NOSAC provides advice and makes recommendations to the Coast Guard on safety and other concerns affecting the offshore oil and gas industry and assists the Coast Guard in formulating U.S. positions for discussion and presentation at the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Agenda (1) Results of Seafarer Access Working Group's review and recommendations of Section 811 of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2010 which requires facility security plans to make accommodations for shore side access for seaman.
