ACTION: Notice and request for comments. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on November 22, 2011, vol. 76, no. 225, page 72239-72240. The FAA uses the information gathered from Grand Canyon National Park air tour operators to monitor their compliance with the Federal regulations. Form Numbers: There are no FAA forms associated with this collection. Type of Review: Renewal of an information collection. Background: Each operator seeking to obtain or in possession of an air carrier operating certificate must comply with the requirements of 14 CFR part 135 or part 121, as appropriate. Each of these operators conducting air tours in the Grand Canyon National Park must additionally comply with the collection requirements for that airspace. The FAA will use the information it collects and reviews to monitor compliance with the regulations and, if necessary, take enforcement action against violators of the regulations. Respondents: Approximately 13 air operators. Frequency: Information is collected on occasion. Estimated Average Burden per Response: 44 minutes. Estimated Total Annual Burden: 38 hours.
