Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records

AGENCY: Department of the Air Force, DoD.

ACTION: Notice to delete a System of Records.

SUMMARY: The Department of the Air Force is deleting a system of 
records notice in its existing inventory of record systems subject to 
the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended.

DATES: This proposed action will be effective on February 28, 2013 
unless comments are received which result in a contrary determination. 
Comments will be accepted on or before February 27, 2013.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Department of the Air Force systems of 
records notices subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as 
amended, have been published in the Federal Register and are available 
from the address in FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT.
    The Department of the Air Force proposes to delete one system of 
records notice from its inventory of record systems subject to the 
Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. The proposed deletion 
is not within the purview of subsection (r) of the Privacy Act of 1974 
(5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, which requires the submission of a new or 
altered system report.

System name:
    Civilian/Military Service Review Board (June 11, 1997, 62 FR 
31793).
    Reason: Records of this type are no longer maintained by any office 
within the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC). In discussion with SORN 
F036 AF PC C, Military Personnel Records System Program Manager, 
individuals to which this SORN applies served and subsequently retired 
or separated prior to 2004, which makes the National Personnel Records 
Center (NPRC) the official repository for any and all records 
pertaining to their service. Therefore F036 AFPC B, Civilian/Military 
Service Review Board (June 11, 1997, 62 FR 31793) can be deleted.
