Description of Request: The applicant proposes to modify Article 406 Timing of Construction Activities of the original license \1\ by: (1) Removing the restriction that construction activities be limited to normal daytime business hours; (2) removing the restriction that no construction shall take place two days before and after the peak summer holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day); and requiring only that no construction will take place on holidays and peak summer holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day). The applicant indicates that the benefit to this modification is that construction can be completed within one year, thereby limiting the impact to recreation users in nearby campsites to one recreation season.
