SUMMARY: This notice contains a summary of a petition seeking relief
from specified requirements of Title 14 of the Code of Federal
Regulations. The purpose of this notice is to improve the public's
awareness of, and participation in, the FAA's exemption process.
Neither publication of this notice nor the inclusion or omission of
information in the summary is intended to affect the legal status of
the petition or its final disposition.

Petition for Exemption
Docket No.: FAA-2015-0137
Petitioner: Innova Flight Training and Systems
Section(s) of 14 CFR Affected: 21, and Sec. Sec. 61.3, 61.113(a),
91.109 (a), 91.119, 91.121, and 91.151(a).
Description of Relief Sought: The petitioner is requesting relief
in order to instruct students on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
operations in the National Airspace System (NAS). Petitioner's
curriculum includes non-certified and certificated aviation students
manipulating UAS controls with an aviation certificated pilot as the
pilot in command (PIC) acting as an instructor who is able to take
control of the UAS at any time.
