Agenda and Notice of Public Meeting of the South Dakota Advisory 
Committee

AGENCY: Commission on Civil Rights.

ACTION: Announcement of meetings.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the 
rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights 
(Commission), and the

Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), that an orientation and planning 
meeting of the South Dakota Advisory Committee to the Commission will 
convene at 2:00 p.m. (MST) on Thursday, April 20, 2017, via 
teleconference. The purpose of the meeting is a discussion, post-
briefing, on the topic, ``The Subtle Effects of Racism in South 
Dakota'' that was held in Aberdeen, SD, on Friday, March 24, 2017. The 
committee will also discuss which city and approximate date they would 
like to hold their second of three briefings throughout the state on 
the topic of the subtle effects of racism.
