    The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will submit 
to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for clearance the 
following proposal for collection of information under the provisions 
of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).

    Type of Request: Regular.
    Number of Respondents: 84,291 per year.
    Average Hours per Response: The USPTO estimates that it will take 
the public approximately between 5 minutes (0.08 hours) to 30 minutes 
(0.50 hours) to complete this information, depending on the complexity 
of the document. This includes the time to gather the necessary 
information, prepare the request, and submit them to the USPTO. The 
time estimates shown for the electronic forms in this collection are 
based on the average amount of time needed to complete and

site, as well as through various USPTO facilities. Additionally, the 
USPTO provides the information to the public through the Patent and 
Trademark Depository Library (PTDLs) System.
