Review; Comment Request; Claim Against the United States for the 
Proceeds of a Government Check

AGENCY: Departmental Offices, U.S. Department of the Treasury.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: The Department of the Treasury will submit the following 
information collection requests to the Office of Management and Budget 
(OMB) for review and clearance in accordance with the Paperwork 
Reduction Act of 1995, on or after the date of publication of this 
notice. The public is invited to submit comments on these requests.

DATES: Comments should be received on or before March 28, 2018 to be 
assured of consideration.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: 

Bureau of the Fiscal Service (FS)

    Title: Claim against the United States for the Proceeds of a 
Government Check.
    OMB Control Number: 1530-0010.
    Type of Review: Extension without change of a currently approved 
collection.
    Abstract: This series of forms are used to collect information 
needed to process an individual's claim for non-receipt of proceeds 
from a U.S. Treasury check or electronic benefit payments. Once the 
information is analyzed, a determination is made and a recommendation 
is submitted to the program agency to either settle or deny the claim.
    Form: FMS 1133, 1133-A.
    Affected Public: Individuals and households.
    Estimated Total Annual Burden Hours: 8,609.
