Title: Book and Old Document Digitizing

Scope: These specifications cover the production of optical character recognition scanning of pages and engineering drawings, requiring such operations as OCR scanning to CD that is searchable only. Documents will be scanned and burned to CD with a universal file extension, including TIFF, PDF and JPG files, normally at a 10:1 ratio. Packing and delivery are also required under the terms of this contract. All scanning will results will be true optical resolution, interpolating to a higher resolution will not be permitted.

Title: Microfiche, Film and Reflective Prints Converted to CD

Scope: SCOPE: These specifications cover the production of scanning and optical character recognition scanning of microfiche to CD that is searchable. 35 mm negative film, 35mm transparency film, color reflective prints and black & white reflective prints will be scanned at various resolutions and burned to CD. All digital files created under the contract will have universal file extension including TIFF, PDF and JPEG. Each file will have a simple file name. Packing and delivery are also required under the terms of this contract. All scanning will be true optical resolution, interpolating to a higher resolution will not be permitted.
