Professional librarians from the Federal depository library community have created a browseable list of Federal Web sites based off broad subject areas. Choose a category and then click on a listing to read a detailed description of the services provided by a site. This service is provided by the U.S. Government Printing Office through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) through a partnership with Oklahoma State University Edmon Law Library.

Federal Agency Internet Sites

The United States Government Printing Office is one agency within the Federal Government. This search is provided as a stepping stone for other agency web sites.

Use this service to link directly to Federal agency Web sites after searching an index, or viewing a list of agencies that reflects the structure of the government as identified in the U.S. Government Manual. The Federal Agency Directory is brought to the Web by Louisiana State University Libraries in partnership with the Federal Depository Library Program.

Cybercemetery of Former Federal Web Sites

The U.S. Government Printing Office and the University of North Texas (UNT) libraries have formed a partnership to provide permanent online access to electronic publications of selected former Federal Government entities. The collection includes Federal sites that were previously hosted by GPO as well as Federal sites that have ceased operation. These archived sites may be found at http://govinfo.library.unt.edu.
