Retrieve by Citation can be used to retrieve a single document or portion of a publication in PDF format. When a Retrieve by Citation search is performed, you are taken directly to the target publication in a new window, bypassing the search result screen. ProcedureStep 1. Click on the Retrieve by Citation link; this brings up the Retrieve by Citation page. Step 2. Select the Collection. Step 3. Select or enter the citation information (e.g., volume, page). Step 4. Click on the Retrieve Document button; the information is displayed in a new window.
Note: The fields used to construct citation searches will vary because citations for individual government documents are formatted differently. Examples of the format used for citation searches are made available in the Collection drop down menu. Step 1. Click on the Retrieve by Citation link to the right of the Search button to access the Retrieve by Citation page. Step 2. Using the Collections pull-down menu, select Federal Register. Step 3. Select 71(2006) from the Federal Register Volume pull-down menu, and enter 58473 in the Page box. Step 4. Click on the Retrieve Document button; retrieved document appears in a new window. |
