Circular Letter No. 512

August 21, 2002

TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: Rider Orders for the Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States

The Office of the Federal Register has issued a letter to agency Requisition Officers announcing the opportunity to submit rider orders for the Public Papers of the Presidents for George Bush, 2001, Book I, including material from January 20, 2001, through June 30, 2001. (A copy of the letter is enclosed.)

Please note that your requisition (SF-1s) for this hardcover publication is due to the Government Printing Office no later than September 13, 2002. Be sure to indicate the number of copies needed for all of the activities in your organization and include OFR requisition number No. 2-00013-NF and GPO jacket number 193-361 on your requisitions.

Although the rider rate for this publication has not yet been determined, your requisition prior to production allows the printing of these copies during the regular press run. This results in substantial savings, which we are then able to pass along to you. (Please note that rider rates apply to single destination, local delivery orders only. Mailing costs, if incurred, will comprise an additional charge.) Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters' printing officers before submitting any paperwork.

If you have any questions about the information contained in this Circular Letter, please contact your GPO Account Representative or call the Departmental Account Representative Division on 202-512-0238.

Sincerely,

JIM BRADLEY
