Circular Letter
No. 515
October 23, 2002
TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government
SUBJECT: Rider Orders for The Standards of Ethical Conduct
for Employees of the Executive Branch, revised as of
October 2, 2002
The U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE)
has announced the reprinting of The Standards
of Ethical Conduct for Employees of the Executive
Branch. This easy-to-read format of the
regulation at 5 C.F.R. part 2635 includes all
OGE amendments made through October 2, 2002.
Because OGE anticipates a large demand for
this booklet, the Government Printing Office
(GPO) is distributing this information by Circular
Letter to help ensure that agencies receive
this information in a timely manner.
Please note that your requisitions (SF-1s)
for this product are due to GPO no later than November
22, 2002. Be sure to indicate the number
of copies needed for all of the activities
in your organization and include OGE requisition
number 2-00045 and GPO jacket number
492-793 on your requisitions.
Although the rider rate for this publication
has not yet been determined, your requisition
prior to production allows the printing of
these copies during the regular press run.
This results in substantial savings, which
we are then able to pass along to you. The
rider rate will depend on the total amount
of copies ordered for this publication, but
we anticipate that it will be between $5 and
$15 per copy. (Please note that this rate will
apply to single destination, local delivery
orders only. Mailing costs, if incurred, will
comprise an additional charge.) Field or regional
activities should coordinate their requirements
with their Washington, DC, area headquarters'
printing officers before submitting any paperwork.
The OGE has also announced that this booklet
can be downloaded from the Forms, Publications & Other
Ethics Documents section of their Web site
at www.usoge.gov. If you have any questions about
the information contained in this Circular
Letter, please contact your GPO Account Representative
or call the Departmental Account Representative
Division on 202-512-0238. If you require information
about OGE's requisition for this publication,
contact Kaneisha Cunningham, OGE Management
Assistant, on 202-208-8000, extension 1180.
Sincerely,
JIM BRADLEY
