Circular Letter No. 517

November 14, 2002

TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: Rider Orders for Department of Defense Telephone Directory

The Department of Defense is currently publishing Issue Two of its 2002 Telephone Directory. This publication was previously listed in our annual Circular Letter requesting fiscal year rider requisitions, but was omitted this year while security concerns were considered. The decision has been made to offer it to Federal Government agencies on a "For Official Use Only" basis beginning with Issue Two; accordingly, no sales copies will be available. The rider rate for this publication is $1 per copy. This rider rate applies to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account.

If you wish to receive this publication, including subsequent issuances during Fiscal Year 2003, your requisition must be received in GPO no later than December 2, 2002. Due to production schedules, requisitions received after the close of business on December 2 cannot be honored for Issue Two. Be sure to include Program 230-S, Jacket No. 496-732 on your requisition. Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters' printing officers before submitting any paperwork. NOTE: If your agency previously submitted a Fiscal Year 2003 requisition for this publication, you must still submit one at this time, as those requisitions were canceled and returned.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact your GPO Account Representative or call the Departmental Account Representative Division on 202-512-0238.

Sincerely,

JIM BRADLEY
Director, Customer Services
