Complex Acquisitions & Special Projects

The Complex Acquisitions and Special Projects (CASP) Team is responsible for coordinating visible, high dollar, and often technical and/or very complex programs and projects that may involve acquisition planning, strategic sourcing, and administration and lease negotiations, as well as training, policy, budget, and personnel transaction support for the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). The CASP Team provides advanced levels of acquisition support expertise and service to the agency. This includes assisting business units with market surveys, determining contract type(s) and procurement method(s), developing realistic milestones with lead-time requirements, management of leased space, and other critical functions necessary to facilitate complex acquisitions. The Special Projects aspect of the CASP Team includes the oversight of unique projects and services, acquisition policy and training support, as well as management of the GPO's Government Purchase Card Program and other Acquisition Services' functions
