                        PARLIAMENTARY INQUIRIES

  Mr. KINGSTON. Mr. Speaker, parliamentary inquiry. I was wondering if 
the Chair could tell us why a 15-minute vote was held open for 25 
minutes.
  The SPEAKER pro tempore. The gentleman has not stated a proper 
parliamentary inquiry.
  Mr. KINGSTON. Parliamentary inquiry. Could the Chair explain to us 
how long that last vote was officially and how long it was in reality, 
which was 25 minutes? And I am wondering why the vote was held open for 
so long.
  The SPEAKER pro tempore. The gentleman from Georgia has not stated a 
proper parliamentary inquiry.
  Mr. KINGSTON. Parliamentary inquiry. Why was that vote held open for 
25 minutes?
  The SPEAKER pro tempore. The Chair will not entertain further such 
inquiries.
