                    ORDERS FOR THURSDAY, MAY 6, 1999

  Mr. GRAMM. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the 
Senate completes its business today, it stand in adjournment until the 
hour of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 6. I further ask consent that on 
Thursday immediately following the prayer the routine requests through 
the morning hour be granted, the time for the two leaders be reserved 
for their use later in the day, that the Senate then resume 
consideration of S. 900, and Senator Gramm be recognized in order to 
offer an amendment as under the original consent agreement.
