TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: GPO Sales Program Price Increase

This Circular Letter is to notify you that effective on or about October 15, 2008, the Government Printing Office publications sales program, which operates on a cost-recovery basis, will implement a 5 percent increase in the retail prices of most of the publications and subscriptions it sells. This action is designed to recover the costs associated with the recent postal rate increase, staffing costs, and other overhead costs.
