Final rule.
This regulation establishes tolerances for the combined residues of the inert ingredient (herbicide safener) cloquintocet-mexyl and its acid metabolite in or on wheat grain, forage, hay, and straw. Novartis Crop Protection, Inc. requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
This regulation is effective June 22, 2000. Objections and requests for hearings, identified by docket control number OPP-301010, must be received by EPA on or before August 21, 2000.
