This action proposes to modify the Class E airspace at Pasco, WA. An area of uncontrolled airspace has been discovered in the Tri- Cities terminal area. This area impedes safe and efficient air traffic control operations to, from, and in the vicinity of Tri-Cities Airport. Additional Class E 1,200-feet controlled airspace, above the surface of the earth is required to contain aircraft conducting IFR operations at Pasco, Tri-Cities Airport, therefore making this proposal necessary. The intended effect of this proposal is to provide adequate controlled airspace for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at Pasco, Tri- Cities Airport, Pasco, WA.
