The EPA is proposing to fully approve the one-hour ozone attainment demonstration State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Rhode Island serious ozone nonattainment area, submitted by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Protection on January 27, 2003. This action is based on the requirements of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990, related to one-hour ozone attainment demonstrations.
