       referred to the Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries

                                 A BILL


 
To clear certain impediments to the licensing of the vessel PLAY PRETTY 
      for employment in the coastwise trade of the United States.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding 
section 12106 of title 46, United States Code, and section 27 of the 
Merchant Marine Act, 1920 (46 App. U.S.C. 883), the Secretary of the 
department in which the Coast Guard is operating may issue a 
certificate of documentation for the vessel PLAY PRETTY (official 
number 975346) authorizing the vessel to engage in the coastwise trade 
of the United States.
