                   For the relief of Anil K. Sharma.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. FOREIGN RESIDENCE REQUIREMENT WAIVER FOR ANIL K. SHARMA.

    (a) In General.--Anil K. Sharma is deemed, for purposes of the 
Immigration and Nationality Act, to be eligible to apply for any 
benefit under such Act for which he qualifies without need to obtain a 
waiver of the two-year residence requirement of section 212(e) of such 
Act.
    (b) Deadline for Application and Payment of Fees.--Subsection (a) 
shall apply only if Anil K. Sharma applies for a visa or for a change 
or adjustment of status and pays the appropriate fees within 2 years 
after the date of the enactment of this Act.
