                                 A BILL


 
To amend the definition of disabled veteran in chapter 42 of title 38, 
 United States Code, for purposes of employment and training benefits.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 4211(3) of 
title 38, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:
            ``(3) The term `disabled veteran' means a person who has a 
        compensable service-connected disability under the laws 
        administered by the Department or one whose discharge or 
        release from active duty was for a disability incurred or 
        aggravated in the line of duty.''.
