Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Job Impact Accountability Act of 1993''. SEC. 2. CBO JOB ANALYSES. Section 403(a) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 (2 U.S.C. 653(a)) is amended-- (1) by redesignating paragraphs (3) and (4) as paragraphs (4) and (5), respectively, and in paragraph (4) (as redesignated) by striking ``paragraph (1) and (2)'' and inserting ``paragraphs (1), (2), and (3)''; and (2) by inserting after paragraph (2) the following new paragraph: ``(3) an estimate of the job creation or loss which would be incurred in carrying out such bill or resolution in the fiscal year in which it is to become effective and in each of the 4 fiscal years following such fiscal year, together with the basis for each such estimate;''. <all>
