bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Environment

                                 A BILL


 
    To authorize appropriations to assist in carrying out the North 
American Wetlands Conservation Act for fiscal year 1995 through fiscal 
                   year 2000, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,
That section 7(c) of the North American Wetlands Conservation Act (16 
U.S.C. 4406(c)) is amended by striking ``not to exceed $15,000,000 for 
each of fiscal years 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1994'' and inserting in lieu 
thereof ``not to exceed $20,000,000 for fiscal years 1995 and 1996, 
$30,000,000 for fiscal years 1997 and 1998, and $40,000,000 for fiscal 
years 1999 and 2000''.
