                                 A BILL


 
 To expand the boundaries of the Stones River National Battlefield in 
                   Tennessee, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. EXPANSION OF BATTLEFIELD.

    The first sentence of section 1(a) of the Act entitled ``An Act to 
amend the boundaries of Stones River National Battlefield, Tennessee, 
and for other purposes'', approved December 23, 1987 (16 U.S.C. 
426n(a)) is amended by striking out ``numbered 327/80,004B, and dated 
November 1991'' and inserting in lieu thereof ``numbered 327/80,011, 
and dated May 1994''.

SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

    There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be 
necessary to carry out the amendment made by this Act.
