                                 A BILL


 
        To provide for an extension of regional referral center 
                classifications, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF REGIONAL REFERRAL CENTER CLASSIFICATION.

    (a) In General.--Section 6003(d) of the Omnibus Budget 
Reconciliation Act of 1989 is amended by striking ``1992'' and 
inserting ``1994''.
    (b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by subsection (a) shall be 
effective as if included in the enactment of the Omnibus Budget 
Reconciliation Act of 1989.
