                                 A BILL


 
To amend the Bretton Woods Agreements Act to authorize consent to, and 
  authorize appropriations for, the United States contribution to the 
          Global Environment Facility, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Bretton Woods 
Agreements Act (22 U.S.C. 285, et seq.) is amended by adding at the end 
the following new section:
    ``Sec. 61. (a) The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized to 
contribute to the Global Environment Facility $30,810,000, subject to 
obtaining the necessary appropriations.
    ``(b) In order to pay for the United States contribution provided 
for in subsection (a), there are authorized to be appropriated without 
fiscal year limitation, $30,810,000 for payment by the Secretary of the 
Treasury.''.
