To suspend temporarily the duty on oxalacetic acid diethyl ester sodium 
                                 salt.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. TEMPORARY DUTY SUSPENSION.

    Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of 
the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the 
following new subheading:
    

       ``  9902.31.12   Oxalacetic acid diethyl ester            No change      No change      On or before     
                         sodium salt (provided for in                                           12/31/95      ''
                         subheading 2918.30.50)......  Free                                                    .

SEC. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.

    The amendment made by section 1 applies with respect to goods 
entered, or withdrawn from warehouse consumption, on or after the 15th 
day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
