     resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Rules and 
                             Administration

                               RESOLUTION


 
 To remove ``Select'' from the title of the Select Committee on Indian 
Affairs and to designate room 485 in the Richard Brevard Russell Senate 
        Office Building as the ``Room of the First Americans''.

    Resolved, 

SECTION 1. COMMITTEE NAME.

    The Select Committee on Indian Affairs is hereby redesignated as 
the ``Committee on Indian Affairs''.

SEC. 2. ROOM OF THE FIRST AMERICANS.

    The room in the Richard Brevard Russell Senate Office Building 
currently designated as room 485 is hereby redesignated as the ``Room 
of the First Americans''.
