Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. FUNDING PROHIBITION. No funds are authorized to be appropriated for the National Park Service to-- (1) study how artificial light affects the movements and behavior of insects; or (2) develop or test remote sensing technology that measures distance by illuminating a target with a laser and analyzing the reflected light for the purpose of determining how artificial light affects the movements and behavior of insects. <all>
