RES. 62 Prohibiting the placement of ``Members Only'' signs in the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol or in office buildings of the House of Representatives. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES January 24, 2017 Mr. Fitzpatrick submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on House Administration _______________________________________________________________________ RESOLUTION Prohibiting the placement of ``Members Only'' signs in the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol or in office buildings of the House of Representatives. Resolved, SECTION 1. PROHIBITING ``MEMBERS ONLY'' SIGNS IN CAPITOL AND HOUSE OFFICE BUILDINGS. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, in consultation with the Architect of the Capitol and the House Office Building Commission-- (1) shall ensure that no sign stating ``Members Only'' is placed anywhere in the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol or in any office building of the House of Representatives; and (2) not later than one day after the date of the adoption of this resolution, shall remove any sign stating ``Members Only'' from the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol and any office building of the House of Representatives. <all>
