                          PERSONAL EXPLANATION

  Mr. LARSON of Connecticut. Mr. Speaker, I regret that I could not be 
present today, Tuesday, March 6, 2007 to vote on rollcall vote Nos. 121 
and 122 due to a family medical matter.
  Had I been present, I would have voted:
  ``Yea'' on rollcall vote No. 121 on passage of H. Res. 98, a bill 
honoring the life and achievements of the late Dr. John Garang de 
Mabior and reaffirming the continued commitment of the House of 
Representatives to a just and lasting peace in the Republic of the 
Sudan. ``Yea'' on rollcall vote No. 122 on passage of H. Res. 149, a 
bill supporting the goals of International Women's Day
