                               MEMORIALS

  Under clause 4 of rule XXII, memorials were presented and referred as 
follows:

       403. The SPEAKER presented a memorial of the House of 
     Representatives of the State of South Dakota, relative to 
     House Bill 1135 rescinding all previous applications of the 
     State of South Dakota for the calling of a federal 
     constitutional convention to amend the Constitution of the 
     United States; to the Committee on the Judiciary.
       404. Also, a memorial of the House of Representatives of 
     the State of Michigan, relative to House Resolution No. 296 
     memorializing the Congress and the President to pass and sign 
     H.R. 5312; jointly to the Committees on Oversight and 
     Government Reform, Ways and Means, and Transportation and 
     Infrastructure.
