  Mr. LONG. Mr. Speaker, on Monday, May 23, Tuesday, May 24, Wednesday, 
May 25, Thursday, May 26 and Friday, May 27, I was in Joplin, Missouri, 
assisting my constituents as they work to recover from one of the 
deadliest tornados in United States history. I was able to interact 
directly with Federal Emergency Management Agency officials, including 
Administrator William Fugate, in trying to assist my constituents as 
best I could.
  Due to this tragedy, I was unable to vote on any legislative measure 
this week.
