with President Barack Obama at the White House, I missed eight recorded 
votes on August 1, 2013. I submit how I would have voted had I been 
present for those votes.

been present, I would have voted ``no.''
  On rollcall No. 429, the Connolly (VA) Amendment to H.R. 1582, had I
