                   ORDERS FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 2008

  Mr. REID. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that when the 
Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until tomorrow 
morning at 10 a.m.; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal 
of proceedings be approved to date, the time for the two leaders be 
reserved for their use later in the day, and there be a period of 
morning business for up to 1 hour, with Senators permitted to speak for 
up to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided and controlled 
between the two leaders, with the Republicans controlling the first 
half and the

majority controlling the second half; that following morning business, 
the Senate resume the motion to proceed to S. 1315, the Veterans 
Benefits Enhancement Act, under the previous order; that the Senate 
stand in recess from 12:30 to 2:15 for the weekly caucus luncheons and 
from 3:30 to 4:30 for the unveiling of former Senate majority leader 
Tom Daschle's portrait.
