                        MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:03 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bills, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate:

       H.R. 4238. An act to designate the facility of the United 
     States Postal Service located at 930 39th Avenue in Greeley, 
     Colorado, as the ``W.D. Farr Post Office Building''.
       H.R. 4425. An act to designate the facility of the United 
     States Postal Service located at 2-116th Street in North 
     Troy, New York, as the ``Martin G. `Marty' Mahar Post 
     Office''.

  At 11:09 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following resolution:

       H. Res. 1084. A resolution relative to the death of the 
     Honorable John P. Murtha, a Representative from the 
     Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
